Franzosenschanze/ Parking space Abersee
The area alongside the Wolfgangsee A road between St. Gilgen and Strobl between kilometre 31.1 and kilometre 31.9 (the bay at the Gamsjaga Restaurant). There is a long stretched parking space with a connecting sunbathing area directly at the lake shore: a wonderful diving spot with partially step lakebed and rocky structures, sunken trees etc.
Furberg Bay, Falkenstein rock face
The area running from the Furberg boat jetty to the north western side of the Falkenstein rock face. The Furberg Bay is a natural jewel of a special kind – please keep it this way. The area can only be reached after a 300m walk on foot. It is well known as one of the most beautiful, but also most demanding diving spots in Austria: it presents very steep rock walls and overhanging rock areas.
