Built by hand into the rock by the Bad Ischl miners in the 18th century, White Horse Inn's Felsenkeller accommodates selected premium wines, exclusively from Austrian vintners. Felsenkeller at "White Horse Inn" in the Salzkammergut

True treasures are stored in Felsenkeller at White Horse Inn: around 8.000 bottles and over 400 different wines - exclusively from Austrian top vintners, like Green Veltliner, Riesling, Blaufränkisch & Co. from Wachau, from Lake Neusiedl or Styrian Tuscany (as the Styria's south is often referred to due to its similarities). Bottles come in 0.2l to the 18l melchior and are waiting to be tasted by you. Top vintners as well as newcomers and insider tips let vino-phil hearts jump for joy. Wine tasting at Felsenkeller

Every Wednesday our certified sommeliers invite you to a wine tasting in this unique setting; please book in advance. They will introduce you to the fascinating world of Austrian wine. We gladly organise wine tastings on other days of the week for groups of 6 and more. The price for this wine experience is € 35.00 for hotel guests. Guests, who don't stay at White Horse Inn, are of course also very welcome to join. The wine tasting price for non-guest is € 45.00 per person.
