Ski tour & snowshoe trail in the Dachstein West ski area

A simple but impressive ski tour and a magical snowshoe trail are also waiting to be explored off-piste: the Atomic Backland ski touring route and snowshoe trail no. 1 "Dachsteinblick".

The Atomic Backland ski touring route takes you through fantastic snow-covered landscapes and offers fantastic views of the Dachstein. The approximately 3.6 km long ski tour covers 630 vertical meters and takes around 1.5 hours, making it ideal for beginners. Afterwards, the well-deserved descent leads back down to the valley on a groomed piste.

Snowshoe trail no. 1 "Dachsteinblick" starts and ends at the mountain station of the 8-seater Panorama Jet Zwieselalm and stretches over 2.2 km. A whopping 1580 vertical meters are covered on the trail, which takes around 1.5 hours. Beginners can also try out snowshoes here first. The absolute highlights along the way are the views of the Gosaukamm, the Dachstein glacier and the summit of the high Dachstein.
