At the Residenz am See, your holiday home on Lake Wolfgang, you'll find 9 Rössl holiday apartments of three different sizes, each sleeping up to six people. Located in a venerable old villa on the lake promenade, all of the apartments offer fantastic views of Lake Wolfgang. There's a parking space right by the Residenz. It's a roughly 10-minute walk through St.Wolfgang to the famous Romantik Hotel Im Weissen Rössl.

Outside your holiday apartment, you can relax in the large lakeside bathing area, with plenty of space for all sorts of holiday fun. While children let off steam at the playground, parents can relax and sunbathe on the comfortable loungers. With direct access to the lake, you can leap into the cool waters of Lake Wolfgang whenever you fancy. If you want to use the Lake SPA, it's best to use the shuttle service: on sunny days from July to August, the "Margarethe" boat service takes you straight from the bathing area to the Hotel Im Weissen Rössl and back.
Activities & day trips in the Salzkammergut
The holiday apartments at the Residenz am See make the ideal base for activities around Lake Wolfgang. You're just a few minutes from the water skiing school, the diving school, the pier in St. Wolfgang and the valley station of the Schafbergbahn.
Take a leisurely tour of the lake, either captaining your own free pedal boat from the Hotel Im Weissen Rössl or heading out on a crewed boat. The boats operated by Wolfgangsee Schifffahrt run several times a day and make for great excursions to St. Wolfgang, St. Gilgen and Strobl. A ride on the Schafbergbahn is a must during any holiday by Lake Wolfgang. The historic cogwheel train takes you up to the Schafberg and into the Alps. Once at the summit, marvel at the spectacular views of the mountains and lake, then set off on a hike in the Salzkammergut.
