The world-famous White Horse Inn became famous with the operetta by Ralph Benatzky and the regional film with Peter Alexander and is located right on the lakeside of picturesque Lake Wolfgang. During a lovely meal at Seerestaurant you won't be served by the funny head waiter Leopold, but you will definitely enjoy your food and the wonderful time at Seerestaurant on Lake Wolfgang.
You might hear a recording of Peter Alexander singing in the background somewhere … Austrian specialties like Abersee sheep's cheese, prime boiled beef (Tafelspitz), and of course Rössling (THE White Horse Inn char) from the lake, as well as classics like Salzburger Nockerl and Kaiserschmarr'n are also very popular.

The cosy Seerestaurant at White Horse Inn consists of Seestüberl parlour, Benatzkystüberl parlour and White Horse-Terrace that was sung about many times. Seerestaurant is also open for guests, who don't stay at White Horse Inn. In summer it is open for you daily from 9am to 11pm and in winter daily from 10:00am to 6:00pm and the kitchen is open all-day from 11:30am.

Please note that we can only take table reservations for the White Horse terrace from 6:30pm. We gladly reserve a table for you during the day in our cosy Seestüberl or Benatzkystüberl, from where you can perfectly enjoy views over Lake Wolfgang.
